The crew of CHP H-30 conducted Helicopter Rescue Technician (HRT) training with our partners at the San Francisco Fire Department @sffdpio. The joint training included cliff rescue operations and equipment familiarization. Collaborative training like this ensures both agencies are ready to provide the highest level of response to the public in times of emergency. This week you may see SFFD jet ski’s and our rescue boat. 10 members are receiving a 32 hour course on ski operations in the Bay and common locations where we are called to along with area orientation and safety skills. Members of fire station 4 near theGiants ballpark and the Chase center will be covering the eastern part of the city all the way to candlestick point. We did visit Yerba Buena and Treasure Islands as well because we cover that area as well. We do this to better help serve people
